This Friday May 9th, 2009 Synergy Fashion Group for the University of Delaware is hosting end of the year fashion show. This show will consist of three main attractions.
Blank Canvas, a design competition open to all majors. Ever year a new theme is introduced and this year the theme was music. The challenge was to design a garment inspired by a music genre. There were a variety of different categories and I choose FUNK.
The second attraction is Open Submission, where students are allowed to showcase their designs created in classes over the semester. I am entering on design I made last semester.
The main attraction and most important, is the senior's collections. The theme was musical instrument and all senior designed amazing garments. Long flowing fabrics, yellows, oranges, dyed fabrics, and plaided works of art are all aspected to grace the runway.
I am looking forward to this wonderful event and I hope you have chance to catch it was well.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
